Strawberry
Shortcake
4 C strawberries, sliced
¼- ½ C sugar
2 1/3 C baking mix
½ C milk
3 Tbsp sugar
3 Tbsp butter, melted
Whipped cream
Heat oven to 425°F. In large bowl, mix
strawberries and sugar; set aside. Combine baking mix, milk, sugar and the
butter until soft dough forms. On an ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough into 6 shortcakes.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Split shortcakes after cooling; fill with strawberries and top with whipped cream.
