I got a Rabbit TV yesterday and I am just overwhelmed at how much this little USB port thing has helped me find to watch. I'm mostly just playinf with it right now but I did find Coronation Street and I'll probably just start watching that today.

In the craft basket....
I am making a crocheted blanket- nothing fancy- for myself. I'm calling it my comfort blanket because I started making it by my mom's side and my intention is so wrap myself up and hold it when I miss her.








I also need to start work on my mother in laws birthday/mothers day gift but I don't feel like digging out the yarn just yet.

Looking forward to this week....
not sure....I have some seeds that should sprout so I'll look forward to that

Mexican Coleslaw


Mexican Coleslaw

I bag coleslaw mix
3 green onions, sliced
½ C cilantro, chopped
½ C mayonnaise
3 Tbsp lime juice

Combine everything in a large bowl and let chill for a few hours before serving.

Honey Pineapple Pork Chops and Broccoli Slaw


Honey Pineapple Pork Chops

6 pork chops
1 (20 oz) can pineapple slices, reserve the juice
1/3 C honey
2 Tbsp mustard
Salt free seasoning to taste

Combine honey, mustard and seasoning with enough pineapple juice to make a medium thick marinade. Discard any leftover pineapple juice or use for a different purpose. Marinate pork chops for a minimum of 30 minutes. Grill pork chops for 5-7 minutes each side or until cooked through, basting occasionally with marinade. Discard any leftover marinade. Add pineapple slices to the grill the last 5 minutes of cooking, turn once to grill both sides.


Broccoli Slaw



1 (16oz) bag broccoli slaw mix

½ C mayonnaise

1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp sugar

3 Tbsp lime juice



Combine everything in a large bowl and let chill a few hours before serving.
