Oven BBQ Pork Chops
1 sm. onion, diced
3 Tbsp. butter
1 C. ketchup
1/3 C lemon juice
2 Tbsp brown sugar
½ C water
2 tsp mustard
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
6 pork chops
Flour as needed
Oil as needed
Cook
onion in butter in a saucepan until tender. Add ketchup, lemon juice,
brown sugar, water, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to saucepan. Cover
and simmer for 15 min. Roll pork chops in flour and brown in oil in a
skillet. When browned place pork chops in a 9x13 inch baking pan and
pour sauce over. Place in a 350 degree oven and bake for 45 min. or
until done.
Cooked Apples
6 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
2 T. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 T. water
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer until apples are tender. Serve hot or cold.
