I made a beef stew in the crockpot using what I had around the house and served it over mashed potatoes.

I had a Morning Star Farms Riblet, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, and Creamed Spinach

Happy Homemaker Monday

Yeah I know it's Tuesday. School started yesterday and I spent a lot of time at the hospital with my grandma.

 The weather outside is::::
I waited for rain all day yesterday. Nothing.....

Maybe today. They are saying it's going to pour.  

On the breakfast plate this morning::::

I didn't eat yesterday morning and it doesn't look promising today. I just need coffee and lots of it.

As I look outside my window:::

My drapes are still closed and it's pitch black outside. I hope that I see rain out there when I do get around to opening them.

Right now I am::::

Laying in bed with all my textbooks and class materials. I'm feeling very overwhelmed right now ad I don't even know where to start working. I need to just focus and make a list and go through it systematically. 
 

As I look around the house::::

It's a mess and I have a ton of laundry to do. It's going to have to wait until my classwork is done. I hate having to choose but right now school comes first to me.

Homework.....lots of it
 

Happening this week::::

First week back to school

Grandma is in the hospital...she will be getting out and I will need to help take care of her. (change her bandages, take her blood pressure maybe) I'm not her main caregiver but I worry about her a lot.

I will have to go pick up my dog's ashes. I had to put down one of my dogs on Sunday. I've been a wreak since it happened.

Thursday - Beans and Weiners
Friday - Sausage and Potatoes
Saturday - Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese 
Sunday -Chili

Fettuccine Alfredo

99 cent store microwaveable Fettuccine Alfredo.
It was late. I was tired. I had homework.
I'm just happy I resisted the urge to go through the drive through.
I also forgot to put the beef stew in the crockpot before I left the house.

Chicken Noodle Soup and No Chicken Noodle Soup

Some much needed comfort food tonight- Chicken Noodle Soup

My dinner was No Chicken Noodle Soup. I was so disappointed with this soup. For months and months I looked for the No Chicken Noodle Soup in a can by Amy's. I finally found a can and bought it with high hopes. Long story short....my dogs wouldn't even eat this vile stuff.

I'm going to start looking for a homemade version or come up with one myself. I'm not hoping to get sick but I'd like to have a vegetarian noodle soup in my repertoire in case I do.

Don't get too excited over this.....

It's hamburger helper because everything went wrong in the kitchen again tonight. I'm not starting off 2016 on a very good note.

I'm not even eating tonight. ( I'm vegetarian)

Ramen and Vegetables

Not a very exciting New Year's Day dinner.

After several kitchen disasters I gave up and just made myself a packet of ramen and added in some mixed vegetables.

I made frozen pizza for my family.
