BBQ Beef Sandwiches and Coleslaw


BBQ Beef Sandwiches

1 medium onion, chopped
1 C ketchup
1 C barbecue sauce
1/2 C water
2 T Worcestershire sauce
2 T brown sugar
1 tsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2-3 C cooked shredded beef

In a slow cooker combine all ingredients; mix well. Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours or until meat is heated through. Use a slotted spoon to serve on buns.

Coleslaw

1 bag prepared coleslaw mix
1/2 C mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 Tbsp sugar
Celery seeds to taste if desired

Combine last 3 or 4 ingredients and refrigerate covered until ready to use. Mix with shredded slaw just before serving.
