Right now I am:
Laying in bed under my grannie square blanket. I haven't been sleeping well.
Thinking:
Thinking about my mom. She is still in the hospital still and the Drs are saying there is not much more they can do for her. I think it may be almost time for hospice. At that point the Drs say she will live maybe 2 more weeks.

On the menu for this week:::
I didn't put any days because I have no idea what's in store for me and my family this week. I have everything for any of these meals on hand so depending on how much time I have and what I feel like eating I'll pick something from the list. I'm having a hard time eating- I don't feel like it at all and I only have dinner because I know my blood sugar will drop and then I will be useless at getting anything done. I feel like I'm force feeding myself some nights.

Homemaking Tips:::
Not really a homemaking tip but as I go through this journey with my mom I am learning how important having paperwork in order for the end of your life is. Regardless of your age you never know what might happen and it's better to be prepared than have no plan at all.
Looking around the house:::
I don't see much. Everything seems insignificant right now compared to what I'm facing.
From the camera:::
A painting from a book I was reading this past week it's called "A Life Well Spent"- the painting not the book- The book is "The Gentle Art of Domesticity"
Bible verse, Devotional:::
Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
