Crockpot Broccoli Beef
2 lbs beef, sliced into strips
2 C beef broth
1 C soy sauce
1/2 C brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 Tbsp cornstarch
1 pkg. frozen broccoli
In a bowl combine broth, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir together until sugar is dissolved. Place meat in the crockpot and pour the sauce over. Sprinkle garlic on top. Cook on low for about 6 hours. 20-30 minutes before serving remove some cooking liquid and mix with the cornstarch. Pour into crockpot and stir. Add in the broccoli and serve once the broccoli is warmed.
My goal this year is to get dinner on the table every day for my family. No excuses, no take out.

Crockpot Dogs and Beans
Crockpot Dog and Beans
12 or more hot dogs
1 small onion, diced very fine
6 sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 (15 oz) cans pork and beans
1 (15 oz) can ranch style beans
1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 C ketchup
½ C brown sugar
Pepper to taste
Place the beans, onion, bacon, ketchup, brown sugar and
pepper in a crockpot and mix together. Place hot dogs on top. Cook on low for
4-6 hours or until heated through.

Cream Cheese Monkey Bread
2/3 C brown sugar
2/3 C sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
2 (8 ct) tubes jumbo
biscuits
1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese,
cut into 16 cubes
¾ C butter, melted
Nonstick cooking spray
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray a
10-12 cup bundt pan with cooking spray and set aside. Combine brown sugar,
sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside. In each biscuit place one cube of cream
cheese. Fold all biscuits into opened top cups around each cream cheese cube.
Place 8 biscuits into the bundt pan cheese side up. Top with half of the sugar
mixture and half the butter. Place remaining cream cheese filled biscuits,
cheese side down, on top of biscuits already in the bundt pan. Top with remaining
sugar mixture and butter. Bake for 35-40
minutes or until biscuits are cooked through. Turn out from bundt pan onto a
serving dish.

Crockpot Bratwurst and Cabbage
1 head green cabbage
2 lbs bratwurst
1 C beef broth
½ C white vinegar
½ C apple cider vinegar
1 C brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
In a bowl combine beef broth, vinegars, brown sugar, salt
and pepper. Stir until brown sugar is dissolved; set aside. Quarter cabbage
into 6 wedges, remove core and place in the crockpot. Place bratwurst on top of
cabbage, pour liquid mixture over bratwurst and cabbage. Cover and cook on low
6-8 hours or until done.

Crockpot Brown Sugar Pork Roast
1 (4-6 lb) pork roast
Salt free seasoning to taste
1 C brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
Place pork roast in a crockpot. Sprinkle with salt free
seasoning. In a bowl combine brown sugar, garlic, mustard and vinegar. Stir
together to make a paste, spread on top of the roast. Cook on low for 8 hours
or until cooked through. Slice and serve.

1 spice cake mix
½ C butter, melted
2 eggs
Nonstick cooking spray
1 (21 oz) apple pie filling
¾ C packed brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ C butter, softened
In a large bowl combine cake mix, melted butter, and
eggs. Mixture will be thick. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick
cooking spray. Spread cake mix mixture evenly in the baking dish. Spread apple
pie filling on top of cake mix mixture evenly without mixing it in. In a small
bowl combine brown sugar, cinnamon and softened butter. Sprinkle over pie
filling layer without mixing it in. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes or until
cooked through.

Apricot Bars

1½ C Flour
1½ C Oatmeal
1 C Brown Sugar, packed
1 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
2 sticks Butter, softened
1 (10-12 oz) jar Apricot jam
Nonstick cooking spray
Combine all ingredients except apricot jam. Press half of
the mixture into an 8 inch square baking pan. Spread with apricot jam. Place remaining
mixture on top and pat down lightly. Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes or until
light brown on top. Let cool then cut into squares.

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1C brown sugar
2/3 C vinegar
¼ C lemon lime soda
3 Tbsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp pepper
Place chicken in a crockpot. Combine
remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Cook 6 hours on low or until
chicken is cooked through.

1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, diced
½ tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
1 C ketchup
3 tsp brown sugar
Pepper to taste
6 hamburger buns
Brown the ground beef with the onion and green pepper
until cooked through. Add garlic powder, mustard, ketchup, brown sugar, and
pepper, combine and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve in hamburger buns.
